Trigger stop screws

Another member, Bill Beamon, sent me these files to share with you on another way to add pre- and post- travel screws to a Ruger .22 Auto frame.

He said the pretravel screws are 6-32 and there are actually two of them. They are short and stacked on top of each other, the top one locks the bottom one in place. The lower screw, overtravel screw, is an 8-32 size.

Interesting alternative to screws in the trigger. Would longer screws and Loctite work as well as two shorter screws?

That looks to be a very good option. I like the pre travel adj location. It could be a single screw but with the thick stock he whet through using one to lock the other is a good idea. Not sure I like the post travel one due to contact angle though. The only down side is working on the frame, SS can be hard to work with. If you mess up it's an expensive fix compaired to the trigger.

I used that method to install over travel screws in my 10/22' sbecause it was the easiest way to go. Small set screws are no available in too may legths, usuall limited to less than 1/4 inch.

Sure, this is just another way to accomplish externally adjustable trigger travel limitations.
