Ordered new grips for MK II

I ordered the new grips from Volquartsen Custom

Hope to have them by the end of the week.....I will be installing them on a

Mark II 5 1/2 " blued slab side. Also ordered the V-Comp in Stainless....

Santa is coming early this year....

I saw these a while back, they're basically a laminated wood version of their Volthane grip styles. Since the Volthane's profile is very comfortable in the hands, I expect these will be too.

They are spendy. Wood grips feel quite nice in your hands. The rubber Volthane grips fit tight in your hand with no slipping around.

I would hope that the wood grips would have a sort of matte finish so that a hot sweaty day would not slip around in your hand.
