Where do You Buy Ammo?

Well, the real KAZ is a loving, protective family member, however he is not into giving cookies away. He is into acquiring cookies. Actually you GunTalk members are somewhat responsible for my interest in stretching out the 22RF. Before I met here I was happy working at 15 yds with my pistols
Now, I'm at least at 25. Requires finding consistent ammo that works. Not at all plinking. Regards

Must be a canine union rule, not to share cookies, Bear usually gets 2 cookies after his first trip to the back yard for morning peepee, he looks for his treat before he gets across the kitchen, When he come in later he kind of looks but knows only the first trip counts for cookies. When it gets warm again I will take the 22/45 Great Eight out with either the Tasco 6-24 or the 2.5-10 on it and see what I can do at 25 yards rested again, shot this target last year one day.KAZ wrote:Well, the real KAZ is a loving, protective family member, however he is not into giving cookies away. KAZ, the real KAZ wants a cookie, of course they always want one or more if they can get them. Target on the last post was shot with this pistol rested, may be a little overkill but the scope was just setting on the bench and needed an outing.

If anybody finds out where there is ammo, let me know.Hi Guys,
I've just purchased a Mk.III Standard Target pistol. Would you suggest some good places to buy ammo for it other than Wal-Mart? I don't intend to start an argument here, but I know too much about the way they treat their employees to be willing to support them. Of course I like low prices, but I'm willing to spend a little more elsewhere. I've already found Midway and Sportsman's Guide. All suggestions will be appreciated.

Most likely most of it is South of 8 Mile but be careful shopping there.Hakaman wrote:If anybody finds out where there is ammo, let me know.Hi Guys,

You got to be careful at the check out because you could be checked out permanently.Hakaman wrote:Right, there you can get it for "free". The only problem is that you have to dig it out of your body to get it. I'd rather go "dry", but thanks for the suggestion. Most likely most of it is South of 8 Mile but be careful shopping there.

I hear ya! Really makes us shooters happy when we go down to Wally's or the local shooters supply and see the empty shelves. I wish all the doomsday folks out there would stop hoarding ammo so that us shooters (with jobs that keep us from waiting till the trucks arrive with only 5 or 6 bricks) could actually get out to the range or spend some time plinking. If anybody finds out where there is ammo, let me know.

The club I belong to has a small, but consistent supply of 22lr ammo(winchester super x 40gr sv, and Federal AutoMatch 40gr sv) .
I am real surprised to get it. I could have hoarded more, but chose to forego for others who need it. I think gun owners are their own worst enemy in this case. By hoarding, we just cause a shortage and drive up prices. Man oh man, when will it stop ? I don't think anybody is getting "any" anywhere. Reloaders are scrimping for components. It is disappointing because it takes away opportunities for responsible shooters to enjoy a hobby. There are probably new cpl's that never shoot after they get their license and have a basement full of ammo.
