Model 41 Manual Safety - Is it Usable?

Mine isn't. It's almost painful to disengage the safety. So, how smooth is the operation of the manual safety on your Model 41?

Fixed it by simply backing off on the screw still leaving it snug. also oiled the sliding "thingie."
