I just finished installing the VQ disconnector so I figured I'd share the results. FYI the pistol also has the VQ Sear and trigger. The disconnector is packaged with a piece of paper with a diagram on it that says if it does not engage the sear to file approximately .005 off the engagement area. In my case the disconnecter was not engaging the sear by a long shot. I took the filing very slow, I checked to see how close I was to engagement after every couple strokes. It took me about 2 hours to finally get engagement.
As far as results I'd say excellent! The pistol has almost NO pre-travel and functions excellent. The pull also feels smoother, though that could just be my imagination The only pre-travel I notice in the pistol is due to a looser tolerance where the disconnecter pin goes into the trigger assembly. I think these same results could be attained from any over sized disconnector regardless of who it was made by, but I am not sure if this is true or not.
If there's the tiniest bit of play between the disconnector pin and trigger assembly I might go so far as to say it the trigger, in regard to pre-travel, was on par with the M-41. That is a bold statement though so I am not sure -- I haven't actually tried them back to back yet.

Thanks for the report. I haven't played with one of these yet. I could tell that the engagement surface would need some fitting to allow for proper trigger reset. There have been a few folks who've tried this as a drop-in part and had less than satisfactory results because their triggers wouldn't reset.
