Gun Safe

I've been wanting to upgrade from a cabinet to a safe for a while now.

Whilst yakking with my favorite gun/pawnshop owner, he mentioned that Lowes had a decent safe for a decent price, with a 10% discount and free delivery if you opened a Lowes credit account.

Don't need the account, but for 10% off, I took it and I'll pay it off when the bill comes in, and tuck the card away, never to be used again (21% interest...)

Liberty safe with a Sargent & Greenleaf combination lock, fire rated, rated for 22 long guns (optimistic, but it will hold 15-18 comfortably) with places to bolt it to the floor.

$727 list, less my 10% and when they delivered it, they noticed a dent in the frame which they'll give me another deduction for. Haven't found out how much yet, but it's relatively minor, and doesn't affect the operation at all.

Likely it'll be another 10%, at least that's what they've told me when I've bought blemished products. The manager is only allowed by corporate to discount by that amount for damaged stock.

Always a nice feeling to have them secured properly.
