Anybody tried this ammo in their guns? Blazer CCI 9mm aluminum cases 115gr ?

I bought a couple boxes and wonder how it treats a gun? It was only $10.50/box.

I haven't tried the 9mm but I shot 2 boxes of 45ACP aluminum 230FMJ the other day and they worked just fine. The only problem I ran into was chasing down the empties. It scattered them about 15 to 20 feet away.

I've used it, in a number of 9mm pistols.

Walther PPS-9 - loads fine, fires fine, seems to have the occasional extraction issue if the gun is dirty (the case outer walls are a bit rougher, I think)
Walther P.1 - didn't like to feed them, no other issues (to be fair, that pistol doesn't reliably feed anything but Brown Bear, WWB, or Gold Dots)
Springfield XD-9-sc - no issues, this pistol eats ANYTHING happily
I think we may have used some up with a hi-point carbine, I can't remember any issues, but I'm not 100% sure that was Blazer (I specifically remember running stuff through that I wouldn't have to feel guilty about not finding all the empties, though).
As far as "not saving aluminum cases" ... they aren't easily (and some would say safely) re-loadable and they seem to get ejected further and more randomly. My outdoor range is saturated with brass/steel/aluminum cases already, so I don't bother picking up more than what I find easily.

There's nothing wrong with the stuff, it shouldn't damage your pistols in any meaningful or immediate way. Expect a slightly higher ratio of failures associated with moving the casing around (feeding/extraction), but it is just fine as range ammo, particularly if you don't want to chase down every empty case.
Remember, even crappy ammo makes for good malfunction-clearing drills!

I've seen a lot of aluminum ammo casings at the range I use. Haven't heard of anyone having any problems with it. I've fired a box 230gr FMJ aluminum casings without any problems.

I've shot some in 9x18 in my P64's and had good luck with them. I bought some in 45acp, just haven't got out and shot any of it yet.

FYI,
I shot 150 rds of the CCI Blazer 115gr 9mm ammo (alum case) today. It cycled as well as any ammo I have ever tried. It shot thru my friends Glock 17, my S&W m&p pro, and my Kahr PM-9. It has a nice lubricant on it, makes it slide right thru. It doesn't appear dirty at all. Aluminum flecks, although, have been reported to be left in the barrel when using this ammo? I'll have to field strip my gun and check.

I must have shot 500 rds of the CCI Blazer 9mm ammo now, and without any failures. It appears to be a great alternative for cost saving 9mm shooting. I personally do not see any negatives about it. Does anybody know what effects, if any, aluminum has on wear and tear of you pistol? Is this grade of aluminum stronger then brass cases?

No harm to anything I have ever used it in. If I recall correctly, many years ago when CCI came out with their Blazer line of ammo, it was all aluminum cased. Non-reloadable but a cheaper price.

I know a lot of people that like the Blazer ammo. Keep it clean. Aluminum is very soft and tends to pick up grit which can score the chamber. That is one reason why using an aluminum cleaning rod is not a good idea.
