Yes we did, think we spent about 6 hours there shooting guns and bull, etc.
Smokey, Bear is getting his winter coat and shedding out a lot of white under fur as Goldens do in the spring and fall. The other day I got enough fur out of him to knit me a chichwawa dog as my girl called them when they were young.

Maybe a little more bull than bullets? :D It's good that you two were able to get together.

A thoroughly enjoyable time. I got lessons in 10/22 triggers, the art of Henry mods and the general art of shooting. A great way to cap off a drive through the NE Michigan backroads.

My browser (Firefox) showed the picture with great reluctance.

1998, you are almost there

We sure got rid of a lot of that hoarded ammo by throwing it into a big pile of dirt one at a time at a high velocity. The weather could really not have been any better, but tonight, the last day of August, they have a frost warning out. What is all this BS about global warming. July was cool even for Michigan and we did set a record for the lowest high temperature for the month on a couple of occasions.
The next post will be 2K. Will have to try my Firefox browser and see what happens.

No frost in E. Lansing, but it was a cool 46F. Sorta wish I'd remembered to bring the light jacket I left by the door so I wouldn't forget to bring it along.

Don't worry, it will be dutifully waiting right where you left it when you return.

Like Bullseye stated, your jacket will be safe and glad to see you when you get home.
That's what getting older does to you, at least you remembered SWMBO and the guns and ammo. I forget to bring stuff to the range now and then, but usually have stuff in the car to get by with. Good thing we got them GPS systems in our vehicles, as long as we have HOME in the memory we can always find our way back there.
This is it 2K
