Dot size at various distances CHART

Post by Jack D » Tue Jun 16, 2009 3:45 pm

I made up this chart this morning using TurboCAD to plot the angles and measure the dot sizes of each angle at 100 yards. Then made a chart in Excel calculating the dot sizes at various distances in five yard increments out to 100 yards.

I believe it to be accurate, but errors do happen. Let me know if you see any.

What size is your dot? Mfgr's. specs. don't seem very accurate. Use the chart in reverse. Put up a target with known size circles (1", 1.5", 2", etc) at a known distance. If at 25 yds, your dot just covers a 1" circle, you probably have a 4 moa dot.
