I bet they're not your self defense guns though.
Don't use the Smith for SD, although I have no doubt that it would work very nicely. I shoot it every now and then.

Hak

What you described is exactly what I meant, but you certainly did a better job of explaining it.

Too old to run, too old to fight and too old to take a butt kicking, what else is there to do? Never mess with and old guy, how do you think they got that old? Had a young fellow when I was still working remark about something that I had done as "that was a smart idea". Asked him, "do you think I got this old being stupid?" But some people have been able to so that, must be luck.
You have great day and shoot straight and may the Good Lord smile on you.

Could that be a Iver Johnson copy of a S&W .32 DA 4th or 5th model??

If ii remember correctly it was called a Safety Hammer???? Checked one time with an Iver expert and was told it was one of 1800 manufactured in 1918, has a transfer bar safety on the hammer so it can only fire if the trigger is pulled. Hitting the hammer will not set it off and it is chambered in .22LR. Shat it a bit last fall.

That is the past tense of shot, check your English grammar books :)
Actually quite a unique gun for it's time, having a transfer bar safety before that name was ever coined. Was found in the wall of a house a boyfriend of my boss's daughter was tearing down and in remarkably good condition.
