ear protection

I even hung a set of muffs on the vacuum cleaner and insist my wife gives them to me to wear before she turns on the hurricane maker. When shooting, I use a noise cancelling set that works well (until the batteries die) and always carry a set of foam plugs in the range bag just in case someone brings a howitzer. Luckily, my club does not allow ammo with a speed of more than 1250 fps to protect everyone from the shockwaves. That works to keep it relatively peaceful.
