The best thing they did was stay out of it. They issued a statement saying that they were staying out of controversial, divisive political issues.
Politics and business don't mix well. On any given issue you will cheese off a good percentage of people. A small minority don't care.

It is about $17 a brick when available. Currently unavailable at Fleet Farm. It is my "go to" ammo as CCI Standard Velocity is difficult to get and quite spendy. I have tried several of the mid grade Eley ammo varieties some time back as well as Wolf. CCI Standard Velocity shot as well for less mone...

My son is home on 45 day leave. Did a year in Iraq. He says the troops love anything that we do for them. Books, magazines, edible goodies, are REALLY appreciated. We would send our son Beef Jerkey and other edibles. The other guys appreciated it as well Geez are we glad he is out of Iraq. His vehic...

Here in the upper midwest we have snow. No need for quaint Christmas pictures, it's for real. We shovel it, move it off fire wood stack, sweep it off cars and scrape windows. It's not all that it is cracked up to be. It'll be around till April. I've seen plowed parking lot snow piles on the north si...

I load the .357 mag brass at 3.0 gr Bullseye with 148 gr LEE TLWC boolits. 2.8 gr for .38 special. Both are seated at the last lube TL groove so there is about .060 exposed boolit. This helps keep it clean a bit longer. THe combination of liquid alox lube and Bullseye makes for dirty revolvers. Accu...

I have the Clark Custom oversize bushing as well as the CC trigger. It tightened things up quite nicely. This is for the Mk II, but there is no reason tha it can't be done with a Mk III. The trigger and oversize bushing combo coupled with the VQ target sear, gives a crisp clean break. Just over 2 lb...

They are spendy. Wood grips feel quite nice in your hands. The rubber Volthane grips fit tight in your hand with no slipping around. I would hope that the wood grips would have a sort of matte finish so that a hot sweaty day would not slip around in your hand. Tell us how they feel and shoot!! Ripsaw

Range scrap work quite well, especially for pistol bullets. As far as not being the best alloy, as long as it casts, it's good enough. Range scrap has a higher content of pure lead. Sometimes, one has to turn up the heat on the pot to get good fill-out. When alloyed two parts range scrap to one part...

I've been casting for 7 years, but have known folks who have done it for years. This is for rifle and pistol. As stated in the above posts there is a bit of an art to it, but it is not rocket science. I shoot a lot. Free bullets are VERY appealing to me. Unfortunately free wheelweight lead is becomi...
