I will be going with the Dillon Square Deal B, does anyone here have any experience with this one -- good or bad? As far as tumblers go are the hand cranked ones any good, or would I be better off with a motorized one? I use a square deal I picked up on ebay for 2 bills came with both 45ACP dies an...

I know exactly what you mean about the sluggish trigger return. It is some what of a pain when you have to makesure your trigger finger isn't touching the trigger at all or it just won't reset. I found the same thing with the VO trigger kit that the springs that came with it are just a bit to light ...

sounds stupid but had similar trouble for different reason.
Try cleaning the chamber with a nylon bore brush bent into a 90 degree angle. Clean the chamber out every magazine or two. Clean the face of the chamber off with a tooth brush at the same time. See if this clears up the problem.
This worked for me until I finally bought a new hammer spring.

I could not leave it alone
Okay so I'm the type that just can't give up until I get it to work. So I took it apart again. Here is what I did. Bent Sear spring to give it more power. (Instead of the two legs being 180 dergees apart they were 140 degrees after I bent it.) Stretched the trigger return spring out a bit. (made it ...

Tried Trigger return spring
Okay I had a chance to look at things this morning. I took the pistol apart and looked at the two springs. I had a few from past projects laying around. It turned out that the springs that came with the kit had the thickest wire so I used them. The trigger return spring I stretched just a bit to see...

VQ accurizing kit
This is going to sound odd but here it goes. I just installed a VQ accurizing kit in my MKII. I used everything in the kit except the trigger. I liked the Ruger trigger that was drilled and tapped to make it adjustable better. On my scale the trigger now breakes at somewhere between 1 lb - 12 oz and...

stippling
I saw one on Rimfire.com that had been stippled with a pointed soldering iron. Looked like it added a lot of grip. Just a thought.
