Slow to see this, but I had the same problem with my Challenger II. The sear spring was really weak. New spring, and a new disconnector while I was about it, and problem solved.

What happened to the bullet in the second chamber? Was it lodged in the cylinder? Go out the side of the cylinder? I would be a little worried the timing is somehow messed up. Think I would take it to a gunsmith as well.

I am shooting pretty nice groups, but I am consistently 6 inches low at 25 yards. What do I do to bring the group up? Do I need a new front sight? This is with the top of front sight even with top of rear sight in a standard sight picture. 9 mm BTW.

I think I would give up on Wolf Mtn and stick with Auto Match. If I had money on the line and knew some ammo was necessary to beat the odds and win the match, that is one thing. But punching holes at 25 yd.s AutoMatch does a fine job at that exercise. JMO, you understand. TB
