22LR target ammo?

The wife and I still have a hard time finding 22LR target ammo here in NY. What the hell is going on? We can only shoot standard or target velocity for our indoor league.

Any body have any good places to look online? Or if you have some to sell?

Thanks, Blazer

This will be a designated BE gun, and I'm not sure about having this mount replaceing the grip. :( Have any of you used a full frame mount that is tapped to both sides of the frame ? Is this a better solution for a full time BE gun? What do most of you guys use for your 22lr BE gun? I do like the id...

How thick is that aim tech mount? Doesn't throw your hand off a little? Strong enough not to twist I guess. Wouldn't it make more sense if the mount came up from the left grip, looks like it might interfer with ejection the way it is.

Kimber rimefire scope

Has anyone mounted a red dot on a Kimber rimfire? Just bought mine and I would like to use it in my 22lr league. It is a 1911 frame style, and I have a Clark slide mount on my .45, but I think a slide mounted mount might be too heavy for this aluminum Kimber. I'm thinking about a frame mount, but th...

selling my 41

What is a fair asking price for my S&W 41? I bought it in 1983 in think? It's in great shape.I never really shot it much, it was my first pistol, then I got into hunting pistols. It has a Leupold crosshair scope, and will shoot 3/4" groups or better from the bench. As Bullseye knows I just started ge...

I was at the gun shop today on the way home looking for a used 1911. The guy behind the counter showed me his Kimber rimfire super when we started talking about my conversion idea. He told me this model is made in the Kimber custom shop and all the fine tuning is already done. I really liked the loo...

Would I be better off buying a used 1911 and tuning it up then adding the conversion? I saw a couple nice used guns at my local dealer in the 500 to 600 dollars range. The RRA lower is almost 800, but I guess all the work has already been done. I'm going tonight to try out a conversion at the club. ...

Thanks Bullseye! Yes this gun will be designated just for 22LR, and I will use a scope. Can you make me a checklist of parts to purchase? I know I want a beavertail, stock style rubber grips, good trigger, etc. But I'm new to this bullseye shooting and don't know the best brands or styles to research...

1911 Frame for conversion

Hey Bullseye, How about some advice on a 1911 frame for conversion to 22LR?The guys at my club have suggested I build my own 1911 conversion. I can't seem to get my S&W 41 to feel right in my hand. The damn trigger is just back to far in the guard for my hand. I tried the Herret grips you suggested ...
