First thing I did to fix the problem was put in the VQ extractor. (put 1 in my 10/22 years ago). Didn't help this time. The problem was the mag. Rounded off the other 4 mags yesterday. All problems gone. If anyone is going to try this, here is my advice... You really don't need to take off very much...

Wow, would not have guessed that to be a mag problem. Bullseye, went to those links you sent... rounded off the rear tab on the mag next to the extractor... problem gone. I have to say that I worked that action in slow-mo a number of times and it did not touch that mag... but then again, I only had ...

Thanks for the replies... will go ahead and take a look at the links you sent me. Could very well be an issue with the mag. First let me thank this forum for the help. I thought I would give you an update on what I have done... First, I added a Volq sear, extractor, and Wilson sights. FRom there, I created my own extended mag welding a tab to the original, filing it, and cold bluing it. I have since gone back and refined...

Thanks for all the great replies. Shot a round of Practical and a round of Advanced Miltary Pistol. The new extractor was flawless. Thanks for the tip.
