Long term Storage Techniques

Does anyone have a long term storage technique that they prefer? I had been doing cleanings and then storing with a light coating of spray oil, but I am going to be gone a little longer this time, and was wondering if any of you have tried dessicants or maybe even something like a spray parafin or s...

What kind of subsonic ammo are your trying? I have tried a few boxes in my MKIII512 and it hasn't balked once on cycling. Just wondering.

For pistol I just use my left eye and my right hand in a classic weaver stance. For rifle however, I have begun teaching myself to only use my right eye by using an eyepatch. I know it's hokey, but it works.

Best, easiest, and most popular trigger improvement is in the sear. A VQ sear is the easiest and best upgrade to make when trying to smooth out or reduce pull weight on an MK series pistol. They have them here; http://www.rimfiresports.com/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=RSC&Category_Code=VC2 wit...

Empty shot bags from shotgun reloading make convenient, and cheap sandbags that hold up for a long time. If you aren't a shotgun reloader ask about empty bags at your range or local shotgun club. I personally love my "Skeeter" trigger. It requires some work to the trigger assembly to install. Not a ...

Actually it sounds like the first round is your traveller. It might be barrel temp, or, and feel free to discredit this everyone, could the bolt locking open happen fast enough to rock the pistol before the projectile leaves the barrel?

I think that he already has it bigger. I printed one out that he had posted over at Rimfire Central. I would love to see it here though as an 8 1/2x11 sheet for printing out to take to the range though.

I have built Pac-Lites on MKII's, III's, and on 22/45's. They are pretty much universal. As far as the threading taking too much off of the end, it seems pretty solid to me. I'll get some pictures and post them up for you.

(and this one is on a MKII)

Thanks JJ! I'd sure like a few of those. JJ, would you happen to have a few loose screws  ...I'm mean some screws loose  ....I'm mean some extra screws I could equitably acquire? Hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot on that request. :) SD Now That's funny, I don't care who yo...

Anodization

I am getting really jealous of the guys over at rimfire central and their colored accessories. Does anyone know good anodizers? I am wanting to anodize some parts and don't know where to start. Can anything be anodized? I want to do some triggers, and possibly some MKIII mag disconnects and slide re...

HAH! I knew somebody else had tried it. Fits pretty good eh? I use the Red ones though. they seem to hold up to more strikes than the yellow for me, and either way they last tons longer than the cheapy plastic snap caps do. Good to see I'm not alone with my wandering mind. Every time I go to the har...

Did anyone yet try this new ammo? Just curious what anyone thought of it, as I found some locally and was wondering if it was worth a try.
