Are you using aftermarket grips? I had one time that this happened and the grip screws were rubbing against the magazines. If you remove the grips completely does the problem still persist?

I hear you Neo, we all have had or at least shot the "big" guns. We choose to shoot rimfires for a lot of reasons, price, price of ammo, not so abusive. All good reasons to introduce people to them though. I am convinced that many people aren't "into" shooting because of bad experiances which probab...

I guess it might be the bushing. Have you thought about just getting one? http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=12298&title=HAMMER+BUSHING%2c+BLUE I got one with my last order just because and ended up giving it to a buddy who was working on these same issues. Not a bad idea to...

Good for you for taking the time to show someone some basics. I truely beleive that there would be many more shooters if people took more time to introduce people to proper shooting techniques and gave more unbiased shooting information to prospective shooters. Thumbs up Greener!

I am not a huge fan of using a brass brush in any of my firearms. I use patches and multiple passes instead, after all, why wear your riflings down with metal on metal when you aren't shooting? FWIW

Here is one that I did, I overcut a few fractions of an inch, but it works fine. Took a few minutes to do, but now it is a good multipurpose bolt, ready for any receiver I want to use it in.

I haven't tried that route yet. I think that one of the members over at MKIII.org did something like that and ended up having to "affix" the LCI into place with some sort of adhesive. Kinda a "ban-aid" if you ask me. I'll see if I can't get you a photo of the groove in the MKIII bolt, along with a p...

Straight up slide into place fit, I agree with Bullseye, No and No. That being said, I dremeled an old MKII bolt to be useable with an MKIII receiver with the LCI in place. It really wasn't that bad, and I like the wider ears on the MKII bolts anyways. As for the receiver to the metal framed lower, ...

The 10/22's are another temptation. I'd like to find a "project" rifle and do some fiddling around. I can't decide whether the work that folks like Song Dawg have done is an inspiration to try something like that or just so good that I know I can't approach it. I was kinda shy about doing my first ...

I never really had aproblem with the "dirty" factor with the RGB's, or the blast. In my Pac-Lites and in my MKII they function just fine. As far as accuracy goes they are better than me in both as proven by shooting off of a rest. My only issue with them has been the tendency for them to get stuck o...

Is there a listing of Bullseye groups or leagues for different areas somewhere? I was just wondering if there is one in my area.

El Paso, Texas area?

I think that the cosmoline would probably cover my needs, but am trying to shy away from it because it sucks to remove after a year or so. I hope to not be gone that long, but might not have other options. I was hoping to use something that would be easy on and off, but if nothing else comes up, I m...
