You betcha! I thought about doing the angled externally adjustable pre-travel mod, but after looking at it for a while, I figured that I didn't want to be able to see the adjustment screw. I don't mind doing them inside, and prefer to use #4-40 screws instead of the #6 that Ruger uses for the over-t...

It feels good actually. I like straight triggers on some of my BR rifles, and when I got this trigger that had been "modified" as an exchange on a drilled and tapped factory unit, I couldn't figure out what to do with it. So I used the factory unit, drilled and tapped it for pre-travel, cut it up, a...

I was very curious about the "judge" but did get a chance to shoot one about two weeks ago. For what it is it is very interesting, but definately a plinker and not a target peice. I'm sure that it could do better than I did with it, but if I was to get one it would only be for hiking/camping probabl...

MKII straight trigger mod.

I modded up a used trigger that I had no use for to a straight style target trigger with bearings on the vert. to compensate for trigger pull or push. I am going to target test it this weekend and will post results and opinions if anyone is interested. Here's a pic of what it looks like right now. J...

That is a good looking bag. Diminsionally I think that it is almost identical to the "Winchester" bag that I have been using. Let us know how it is once you get it?

The benefit of the actual trigger is the ability to adjust pre-travel and over-travel out of the trigger, giving a very "crisp" feeling trigger.

I've never heard of the Federal Val. Pack being to "hot" for this pistol, regardless of the trigger that is in it. I have three of the VQ triggers, and use the Federal all of the time without problems. Do you know if your pistol has aftermarket springs in it? The only way that I could see using high...

It sounds like the loc-tite isn't setting up on the screws, and then after firing a few rounds the screws are coming out of adjustment. Degrease your screws and their respective holes, and put some blue loc-tite onto the threads when you get it fully adjusted. Then let it sit a good 24 hrs. before s...

I also have been down this road. There is a lower built adjustable rear sight unit, but shoot, I am hard-headed and built a new front sight blade out of some stock. One of the other guys here can probably point you in the right direction for the lower rear unit.

Bullseye,

Do the MKIII 22/45 magazines have the trigger "spur" window? If they do would it be a problem on a factory MKII 22/45 magazine, or do they also have the window? Just wondering.
