I took Baldy's advice and yesterday ordered a Ruger 22/45 stainless from Bud's. The price was right and they have it in stock. My FFL deals with them weekly and has high praise for Bud's.

Greener, you aren't kidding! Brad at Bud's said seven to ten days. I'm trying to set a low expectation level in my head so I can be extra happy if it arrives in less time. The anticipation is killing me; especially since I haven't owned a gun in over thirty years!
