Bullseye, Another project for you to think about. I don't have the skill nor tools to make one up but I'd sure like to have a filler for that plastic LCI piece. I made one up out of aluminum and it looks ok but still looks homemade. Seems a lot of people are trying to defeat the LCI by removing to m...

Bullseye, Thanks for the kudo. I'll post some pics of this one when I get through with it. Got some grips on order to go with the Millet red dot. Already have the VQ sear, bolt release and extractor installed. Mag safety out and a Clark hammer pin and bushing set installed. All internal moving parts ...

Bout the best I can do. Cameras are still kinda hard for me to master. The spare trigger is one of the original VC3TT's that I stripped and polished. The discoloration at the top of it is where I left it alone so as not to narrow it down and get some sideways slop. I stripped and polished the MK11 s...

I got in two new Hunters last week and while getting them ready to go out the door I noticed that Ruger had put red loctite on the front sight screw as well as the rear sight hold down screw. One of the first things I do is loctite both screws. I hope this is a permanent change in assembly by Ruger....

Nic at VQ just sent me an e-mail saying the new VQ trigger will shortly be available to fit the MK11 in black or silver/stainless. Good news all around. He said that he had a production run going now that had the back side of the trigger trimmed down to fit the MK11 which,of course, will also fit th...

Bullseye, What would we do without your graphics? That is exactly what the new VQ trigger needs to fit a MK11 and says it so much better than I can. That is exactly what I had to do to make mine fit and work. I ground mine down starting with a bench grinder, then a belt sander, and finished with a Dr...

Rich G, I assume you are talking about the latest VQ trigger with both pre and overtravel adj. screws. Yes, the trigger fits a MK111 but I had to grind a good bit off the flat area on the back of the trigger to make it work in my MK11678GC. The flat area is a little too long and strikes the frame be...

Well, I've tried to order the trigger from VQ but can't get past the answering machine. I've left at least 5 requests for a call back so I could order but am still waiting. So. I e-mailed Alan at Rimfire Sports with the info yesterday and got a reply today. Alan says he will contact VQ, get some of ...

VQ MK111 Trigger.
I'm starting a new thread on this so it does not get lost in my old one about the Acu'rizer/Trigger. I received an e-mail from Nic at VQ today and he says that a silver colored MK111 trigger may become available(the new style, with the pre and overtravel adj.) and may be available now on special ord...

I only sized the case and bullet, no "paco" nose yet. I used my press setup instead of the mallet. I mainly wanted to see if the resizing made any difference in accuracy before trying the various nose shapes. The punch that makes the "nasty nose(I think thats the one) makes up a bullet that looks li...

Bullseye, It's been awhile now and I still haven't heard anything from Paco about the press setup. The only real firing results I have so far after using the tool is that Stingers chamber and shoot very well after resizing but the winner is that the accuracy of Fed. 510 bulk ammo that I ran through ...
