Value of Aunts guns
Hello, I recently had an Uncle pass away and while my parents are going through the steps to help my Aunt get things settled they came across 3 pistols. I am trying to find out year, value, history etc. of these guns. But mainly value at this point. I would like to make an offer to her for these gun...

Bullseye, Alan did get back to me. I want to replace my sear on my Mark 1 and some other things. I believe you told me that the VQ sear for the Mark 2 will work in the Mark 1 but it was a while ago. Alan replyed to me that he was not sure if it would work. Will the Mark 2 VQ sear work in my Mark 1 (...

Price for Mark 2
I was recently asked what a good price for a used Ruger Mark 2 (22/45 model) Stainless in a 4" Bull Barrel.
It comes with a case, 2 mags, manual and in almost new condition.
What would be a good price to pick this up for?

I think I got it cleaned out now. All I had was Hoppe's but it seemed to do the trick with time. Do you think this was from one bullet or it started to build up and just got worse with more shooting? Is this a common occurance with rimfire and or Thunderbolts? Do you think this has hurt the new barr...

Here is a photo of a hunk of lead (next to a 22) that I pulled out of the Mark 3 barrel. I ran a soaked rag of Hoppes #9 through the bore (rod wouldn't even go through the barrel all the way). Let it soak for a few minutes while I cleaned my Mark 1 then put a brass brush on the rod and in one pull g...

Toy, I remember reading your post about the S&W 22 awhile ago. I am putting an order into Brownell's right now to get the Lewis Lead Remover. Thanks Bullseye. One thing I did start to notice before the gun started shooting eraticaly was a lot of smoke coming out of the barrel. There were three of us...

Is this something from shooting too fast and the barrel heating up or from the quality of the ammo or both? I bought an "Ulitimate Cliploader" which is nice to use but it does speed up the reloading/shooting process. I did read about using the isoprpyl alchol today for cooling down the barrel. I wil...

M-1 Carbine Ammo
Does anyone know of a good (cheap) place to buy M-1 Carbine Ammo, 30 Cal, 110 Grain ammo?
Looking to buy a case lot.
It would have to be shipped with in the USA.

Shot both last night at the range. I am locking in on how to shoot a pistol-at least a 22. I was getting real comfortable with both the Mark 3 & 1. I still want to do something with the Mark 3 sights but don't want to do too much until I can lock in the best I can with my shooting. I'm getting there...

Shooting Pattern Results
Not to long ago I stumbled on a pie chart on a forum (maybe here) that I would like to send to my shooting buddies.
It was a 9 segment chart showing where you will shoot (off of bullseye) if you do certain things.
Can anyone put the link in this post?
It would helpful for all of us.

Well what do you know, it worked...pictures. Maybe could use a little smaller image to fit screen though. I have (with all the info coming from the forum) replaced the sear on the Hunter and replaced the grip with a Hogue. Still not happy with the Hi Vis sights though. I might switch out to the Comp...
