I've used Breakfree for many years. If I'm gonna' store a gun (weeks, months or years) I just douse it inside and out with the stuff after a shower with Gunscrubber. I let it sit and drain overnight, wipe off the excess and put it away. Before I got my large safe, I just stored then in a large close...

Marlin 39a octagon dovetail plug
Hi guys. I've got a Marlin 39a 1897 Texan model .22 fitted with target sights. I removed the rear sight, leaving a dovetailed notch. I can't find a plug for the octagon barrel. Plenty for the round barrel. I'd welcome any advice for info.

Stiff Magazine Eject 22/45
Hi guys. Anybody have a problem with the magazine on a 22/45 not ejecting very far out of the grip? Mine just moves a little...just enough to get a fingernail into and pull it on out. Got several mags and they all act the same. Is something wrong in the well or do they all do that?

CCI copper plated
All my .22's do well on CCI copper plated round nose Mini Mags. Rifles as well, including auto and lever. It seems to me that the copper doesn't foul as bad and it certainly does better on the chamber ramps. Nearly any brand is more accurate than I can shoot and CCI is no exception.
