Ruger MKIII 22/45 Hunter

I received my new VQ sear from Rimfire Sports and Custom and installed it (no lube) yesterday. According to my Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge, the weight is now 1lb. 14ozs. Since I will be using this pistol strictly for informal range bullseye shooting, I'm going to leave it 'as is'.

My new 22/45 MKIII has an average trigger pull of 3 lbs. 11 oz. out of the box. It's crisp and feels pretty nice. I was rather disappointed in the website, as it didn't provide me with enough information to make an intelligent decision whether to purchase or not.

In all the years I've been shooting, I had an unintentional double tap one time a year or two ago. I was shooting one of my Walther P99s at an indoor range and was concentrating on my trigger reset and my groups so much that before I knew it... BOOM! - BOOM! . It scared the heck outta me so badly th...

I suppose I'm an oddball because I prefer my triggers a tad heavier. As long as they are crisp, I rarely complain. My Ruger MKII still has the stock trigger in it with no mods -- even though it measures 3½ lbs., it has absolutely no creep that I can detect, so I'm going to leave it alone. The same t...
