I received my new VQ sear from Rimfire Sports and Custom and installed it (no lube) yesterday. According to my Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge, the weight is now 1lb. 14ozs. Since I will be using this pistol strictly for informal range bullseye shooting, I'm going to leave it 'as is'.

My new 22/45 MKIII has an average trigger pull of 3 lbs. 11 oz. out of the box. It's crisp and feels pretty nice. I have no first-hand experience with this kit. I can only tell you that it's not new -- I recall reading a gun magazine article about it years ago.
