Ruger .22 MKseries Taurus .40SW 24/7 Winchester lever action in .30-30 Remington model 700 in .30 06 Remington 12 ga pump These serve me pretty well, between me and my kids, the .30-30 has taken more deer than I can remember. I'd like to add a 1911 colt .45ACP to the mix but the one I want is close ...

Hey Bamster... back off just a bit and look at how the first posts to the group appeared. 3 different forum groups got the same message, word for word, with no reference to any relevant post in that group. Now, we're happy you got great service from GOE, but you've not mentioned what specific work t...

I may be adding a washer to mine. I was at the range this weekend and I started having trigger issues. My MKIII has the LCI removed and replaced with a filler and I did the MKII bushing swap to get rid of the mag safety. After my 2nd box of cartridges I started having problems with the trigger not r...

From what I understand, and have gleaned from some posts on Rimfire Central, the sideways slop is not a factor. As long as you have little to no slop in the hammer pin to bushing fit the bushing should be good. From what I see, when the bolt is inserted the hammer positions itself correctly in the s...

I've seen Coyotes on our land up in Vilas Cty. (WI) but they're wary of humans and always give me the sneer and lope away. About a decade ago we had an active fox den and we were convinced a bobcat or lynx was close by. The DNR kept dismissing locals reports of the same info... My bro from MO has to...

Thanks guys. I'm just getting into handgun shooting after a long layoff. I used to shoot .22 competition rifle way way back in college and now a good friend got me all interested in handguns at 50ft. So what a better way to get into it than going with a sweet looking Ruger. Open sights w/ 54 yr old ...

howdy and a question
newby alert! Just got a new MkIII hunter in Stainless with 6 7/8 fluted. I picked up a VQ Volthane grip from rimfire sports as well as a MKII hammer bushing to sub in and get rid of the annoying mag safety "feature". What's the best topic to search on to get a detailed disassy/assy and handy info on...
