My brother has a bersa thunder. Everything I have read about them said they should be dead reliable, but my bothers is not, at least one stoppage every other mag, hes not very happy with it, he bought it for a CCW but understandably doesn't trust it... Its also big and heavy for a .380, being a gun ...

My brother loaded a 5.56 round in his AK mag last month.... he was loading his AR-15 mags in the same spot as his AK mags, and happened to dump a box of 7.62x39 on top of a bunch of 5.56x45..... he loaded about 3 before he realized his mistake, took them out, and finished loading with 7.62x39.... ap...

I think my stainless rod is okay, likely harder than regular carbon steel. I have a home-made firing pin stop pin in my Mark 3, that is still straight and smooth after over 1000 rounds.
