OK
Ain't no braggin about those targets. The gun is a High Standard Victor with a five inch Falcon Barrel and Herrett grips. I use an old Ultra Dot sight. I've been shooting CCI SV. Last night, I shot a 273 (86 - 93 - 94) using a modified Ruger MK.II. The frame is Ruger, the trigger, hammer, etc. are V...

November 2010 scores post here!!
I shot a set last night. Didn't see anything in the sticky about posting pictures of the targets. I will if need be.
Shot a 274 for the NMC (gallery).
Slow - 92
Timed - 92
Rapid - 90.
"Win it in slow fire; lose it in rapid."
Ain't it the truth.

Ed's Red:
Four of those ingredients are solvents. How many are really needed? It would most probably work as well if it was just the tranny fluid and the kero - or the two separately.

case separation
Do the cases extract smoothly?
A picture of one would be helpful.
Have you worked out why the case that broke did so?
Case head separation - that's what it sounds like - is frequently related to headspace problems in reloads. (though I had one last weekend with a .44 Mag case in a Ruger BH.)

M6
Ylee: Correct. SA seems to go through long periods during which the M6 is not available. Then they have a run made.
I waited some years for them to become available.
The last one that I saw retail was bought by a friend of mine about five years ago.

survival rifle
I had one of the old AR7s - when they were being made/sold by Charter Arms. It worked. My son has it now; keeps it on his sailboat.
I opted for a Springfield Armory M6.

four barrels
I would have to choose a German four-barrel rifle. Those four barreled weapons are called "Vierlings". The only picture that I have seen of one showed a SXS 12 ga. with a rifle barrel below the SXS barrel where the under rib would be and a second, larger bore, rifle barrel below that. I have seen s...

Good luck at Perry.

one
One gun? It would - almost certainly - be a muzzleloader, a flintlock....probably a 20 ga. Fowler.
If not a MLer, definitely a pump 12 gauge. Ithaca 37.

scope
For Bullseye shooting, that should be plenty. Suggestion: use the lowest power that will allow you to make out the holes. I use 24X for 100+ yard scoping outdoors. Indoors, I use 10 or less. You always get the same amount of light through the lens under a given circumstance. Larger images mean that ...

Bulldog
"What exactly do ya got there?" That is a "British Bulldog" pistol (or just a "bulldog"). They were quite popular in the late 19th Century. That one is in very nice condition. It appears to be a .44. Maybe? I have one - just got it - in .38 CF. (common chamberings were .32, .38, .44, .45. BP loads.)...
