barrel
I thought about a two-tone job.... probably going to " V port" the stock barrel as I've got another. I wanted to make sure the gun is 100% before I put the Alchin mount & C-More back on. This gun is primarly a steel plate gun. Did the sear spring thingie.... Might be too light for some people... I l...

fixed? We will see
Well, I dove into this one. Browning "tech" service was of NO help.. All I asked was that if the ejector was "pinned" in, "no gunsmith advice over the phone" (I was already pretty sure it was). There are "dimples" on each side of the ejector in the frame. (locks it in). After GENTLY" removing as lit...

BuckMark ejector/replace
Bought a used BuckMark... Had a few failures to eject, upon inspection the ejector is blunted/worn/short. (Checked against 2 other BuckMarks). Parts are on their way from Brownells. The gun is dissasembled but it seems a little mysterious as how to replace it.... I'm guessing here... that I need to ...

 Well, I had to get the plastic hammer out..... The "Pac Lite" barrel had a big burr on the inside where the Ruger locking system rests at lock...a machinist's de-burring tool took care of that. who would have thought???.... I had also installed the Brownells extra power bolt spring... (it's j...

A new one for me.... Was going to do a detail clean of my 22/45. I can't get the bolt out?? ... Looks like the recoil spring is setting too high OR have I lost my MIND??? I can't remmember bolt removal as being a problem....It definately does not just slide out... The gun has been working just fine....

Fixed
Thanks for the reply... I stripped the pistol... the problem was that the long leg of the sear spring was not centered in the slot, it was off to one side... not applying any tension to it...I couldn't take it back to the dealer as the barrel spent some time on my buddies mill getting lightened a bu...

Browning BuckMark, trigger won't reset
The trigger won't reset. Bought a nice looking used BuckMark. The gun looks to be very low round count..... I have not gotting to far in to it yet. All parts look to be in place. (I have another to compair with). There was no warranty with this.... (it's in too nice of condition to have too much wro...

Was shooting competition today, my son was using the same gun as I was. He has several jamomatics on his last stage. The bullets (CCI) 40 Hi-VELs were standing up in the mag.... I need to check the feed lips and forgot the witdths. I've searched... didn't find the mag feed lip diamentions, some help...

Update; shot the DEC. 26th. match with Remmington Thunderbolts x 40 grain lead bullets... For the most part they worked excellent +... had 2 no fires out of 110 plus rounds (good hits, nice indents). After the match, I completely disassembled the pistol.. didn't find any reason for the problems I've...

I don't think the firing pin is the problem with my "no bangs", that said I just bought 2 new firing pins from Brownells... In case anyone is interested, here are the overall lenghts: #1. 1.876"(47.14mm), #2. 1.879" (47.74). (looks like the oval slot could be made a tick longer and the nose flatened...

5000 CCI Mini Mags & 1100 CCI SV's on the way. I'm gong to leave everything alone on both guns and try both at the next match. SO, where is the "primer" on a 22 round ???? I get a VERY pronounced indent on the very edge of both 22/45's......I've got 2 firing pins on the way also, just in case.. Any ...

no bang
YEP, I'll return to the stock hammer spring. Although, I checked another round today...very small but very defined mark on the spent case rim... In all the years I shot .22's I have never given a thought as to as how/what is required for ignition on a 22 round?, sure not like a centerfire round. May...
