The RCBS hand primer is a good one, and it's a little more ergonomically designed for your hand. My old Lee wasn't and I reloaded enough that my forearms would cramp from squeezing the Lee.
Either one you go with will be a vast improvement over the set up that came with your press.

Ended up getting a Rem 798, couldn't beat the price since I basically wanted just the action.
Waiting for the rifle to come back so I can do the stock and get some rounds down range.

Ballistol, I would suggest using it in the shop or garage though, while it works wonders on wood and metal, it tends to give the little ladies a scowl. :?

Those rifles are great, I'd rather shoot the Henry over the 9422.

I was thinking the same thing with the locktite this morning after the wife shot it. They set the sights for the ammo you shoot, and they did that right for sure. Was able to get a hold of Gunsite this morning as well and they said the same thing, that the slight movement isn't an issue, but if it w...

Thanks, don't know why I didn't look there.
Now I'll be able to sleep tonight. :)
Still don't like the slight "rocking" motion I can get in it, but I'll see what they have to say on Monday.

1911 sights

I just got my Colt govt xse back from the smith, I had Novak night sights put on. They had to mill the slide front and rear as it only had the factory 3 dots. The front sight is loose in the dovetail, I can barely move it with my finger and they installed a very small roll pin down through the top o...

WTB Ruger Talo grips

I'd like to buy a set of the Talo grips for the ruger mkIII, not the multi colored USA grips. I'd also consider any of the wood grips with the Ruger logo done in wood.

I'd also like a factory SPORTER style stock for a 10/22.

Didn't think of this before... PM me your email and I'll send you 2 PDF files, Remington field service manual, and another of exploded views, might make my description of your trigger mod make a little more sense.

Check the trigger and sear pivot pins and holes for wear, the sear pin rides in a slot on the trigger if I remember correctly. Also the hole in the receiver for the trigger pivot pin has a bur from the factory a lot of times on those rifles. Remove the bur and see if you have enough room to make shi...

Finally, something I can comment on... Get two drill bits, a 1/4" and a 3/8", and something with a 1/2" hole drilled in it. Now insert the 1/4" bit in the 1/2" hole and center it by eye then repeat with the 3/8" bit. The 3/8" is easier to center for most people because the eye and brain have less to...

Thanks for the replies, a new factory pin is on it's way courtesy of Ruger. I've had good luck using drill bits for TEMP fixes in the past, I keep those smaller bits that break just for such an occasion to get by until the correct factory pin can be obtained. Ruger requested the broken pin back beca...

MKIII Sear pin

First off: New to this forum and I must say the info here is second to none, you guys are great. I've been lurking for a while now. I have a MKIII that I put a VQ kit in and it took care of my creep, but I wasn't inpressed with pull though the gun functioned fine. When I got home I decided that I wa...
