I use 10 mags for my Para for the service match of a PPC match. That way I can shoot without reloading mags. I have probably 20 moon clips for my 625 for the Combat match. I use 6 mags for my model 41 for Bullseye.

That is really nice work!

It looks like my 6" Python would fit right in there.

Nice job,

1st PPC match of the indoor season

I just got back from shooting my 1st. indoor PPC match of the 2010 season. Not my best score but respectable at 570 out of 600 possible. Would have liked to have had a higher X count, only 12X. I used a S&W 625 SS in 45 auto with moon clips.

Welcome to the forum. I will have to look that sight up on-line and see if they have one to fit a MK III. I have a similar one on my Para P-14-45 that I think I bought from Brownells. I agree the green is the easiest to see with 55 year old eyes.

Welcome to the forum quickslider

My Mod. 41 is my favorite rimfire pistol. I bought it used and have had it for 30 years. It has fired many thousands of rounds. The advice on this site is great.

Enjoy

Thanks to all for the welcome. Thanks Hakaman for the tip on DSC. I used to shoot there when I shot in the SE Michigan Bullseye league. I looked at events calendar and see they shoot bullseye on Thursday evening.

Thanks for all the replies

I think I will just order the trigger and sear as recommended and also the extractor which I hadn't even thought about. I had already looked at the detailstrip from Bullseye so I had an idea what I was getting into.

Thanks again for all the responses.

Ruger Mark III accurizing kit

Has anyone installed the Ruger Mark III accurizing kit from Volquartsen?
I haven't done any trigger work on a Ruger yet.

Once in a while I like to go into the Gun Library at the local Cabela's and check out some of the $5 digit priced guns. Someone must buy them, just not me.

I have tried most types of competition, plates, IDPA, PPC, and pins. I would like to find somewhere to get back to Bullseye shooting, indo...
