I float to the thickness of 2 business cards or a little more. Float From front lug all the way forward. Be sure and seal the wood when your done. My CZs shoot the best with 24 inch lbs of torque on both screws, I would suggest to try 24 in lbs if that is not good for your rifle start at 15 and work...

You can also drill and tap your factory trigger and install the pre and over travel screws. there are instructions on how to do this somewhere on this...

CZs are very fine rifles. I have 4 of them and they all shoot very good. With excellent accuracy. The barrels are hammer forged with tight bores. I would recommend a 20 cal cleaning rod or a Patch Worm for cleaning them. Once you find the ammo the rifle likes the accuracy is excellent. If you like i...

What Bullseye said. They have no bullet but are crimped in the extreme so they will feed in a semi auto rifle.
Here is a photo of the ones like I have seen.

If you think it needs replacing go ahead and get a new one. I have only replaced one. I bought a used MKII and I replaced the recoil spring assembly on the top of the bolt and the mainspring/latch assembly. Made a world of difference in the pistol. I was having some functioning issues and that fixed...
