Answer: 1 When you walk do you carry a water bottle? I bicycle and a squirt from a water bottle will stop a dog in it's tracks long enough for me to get on down the road. They see the water coming at them and stop in their tracks because it's unexpected. HALT a chemical spray works but so does a wat...

Ouch...... I hate to see that these were all stainless receivers. One would think that would be stronger. At least the 60K round count helps me feel a little better. I won't live to put that many through mine. My LCI "plug" is stainless, follows the original shape, and is a tight fit. Especially, f...

first guess would be dirt.

Take it apart and give it a good cleaning use a bore brush and lots of solvent and clean the chamber area really good and the bore.

Lube it and try again.

free recoil

to shoot good with free recoil requires a very light trigger 4 oz or less.
My Cooper TRP3 has a 2 oz trigger and I shoot it free recoil. it did not work good with the 6 oz trigger so I put a Jard trigger in it.

I haven't heard anyone mention a SLED in a long time, I have two of them for my M1 they are really a must have for NRA high power slow fire.

I do all my load testing at 50 yards. Our BR matches are held at 50 yards so I load test and practice at 50 yards.

Those are nice groups for Remington ammo.
If you can find any SK Subsonic buy a box of 50 and give them a try.

What set up do you have on the bench? Sand bags, front rest & rear bag?
