Well I rounded the rear corners of one magazine, and ran about 80 rounds through it with only one issue. First I didn't have any jambing or stove pipes, so that must be fixed. I don't know what you call this, but the bullet wouldn't fire. The rim of the brass was struck but the round didn't fire. So...

Thanks for the link smokey! Yes I did change the extractor, trigger, sear, and yes the magazine looks to be alittle high. I just pulled apart the magazine release and didn't see any issues there, although I did file about .006 thousandths off of it. It looks like I will have to mod the mags to make ...

I got it all back together, but I am still getting some jambing. I agree with what I have read here in that this gun should have came from the factory this way. The new round gets jammed on the old spent case when the new one is feeding into the chamber. I am still kinda not sure on how to fix this ...

One last question?...........I recently had 4 out of 10 rounds jam inside the gun. The casing isn't coming out before the new bullet is being pushed into the barrel and it's causing both the jam up together. Will changing to the adj. trigger, volquartsen sear, and exact edge extractor fix this issue...

Re: Mark 3 upgrades(minimum cost)
Hi guys, and thanks for the comments. I was going to purchase the sear, extractor, and the trigger...I was mostly wondering if I should by the kit as it's more expensive then the 3 parts I have listed above.
Would I need this disconnect link if I am replacing the trigger?

New member saying hi, and wanting to upgrade a Ruger Hunter?
New member saying Hi, and wanting to upgrade on their ruger Hunter mark III. I've went through several pages on here, and I'm still alittle confused as what upgrades I should make to my Hunter Mark III. I will first add that I want to save as much money as possible in doing this. I will add that I w...
