Hi John, I'm probably newer to Berettas than you are, so I'm a little short on advise, ha ha. I bought the 92 to be used as a house gun and a gun with manageable recoil for my wife. The weight of the 92 with the 9mm round makes a very mild recoil, much less than the hefty thump she gets from my .45'...

Question: Does anyone know what size Allen Wrench uncrews the grips on a Beretta 92FS? Metric or American? It sure is small. I didn't feel like buying two sets. John, 2mm fits my grip screws. The Beretta 92's are a big, heavy pistol for a 9mm, aren't they? I picked up a 92FS Inox on closeout at a re...

If what Bullseye said about the customizations that would be needed for a match grade pistol holds true to the Les Baers I probably won't end up with one. George, The Rock River or the Les Baer wad guns are ready to go out of the box. I've shot both & presently own 2 Baers. I'd have to give the nod...

:) Can you mount a weaver style rail/mount on the pistol and is there a rail or mount available for the pistol? Jim Hi Jim, Yes, there are Weaver style scope mounts for the trailside. I'm using a mount made by Weigand which is very well built, mounts solidly, and I don't lose zero with un/remountin...

The Gun-Ho (Pachmayr style) box seems to be the standard for bullseye shooting. I'm using the Gun-Ho, but there are a couple of options in this style box. Strong Case, carried by Champions Choice, is fabricated from aluminum. http://www.champchoice.com/detail.php?item=SRC1812 Another box builder is ...

Hammerli was purchased by Walther & Sigarms no longer imports this pistol. :( I do have a Trai...

Re: 45 Cal Wadcutter Ammo
I'm having problems finding .45 Cal wadcutter ammo. Does anyone have any good sources. Try NSK Sales here: http://www.nsksales.com/ Neil has an excellent reputation amongst bullseye shooters. I haven't used his service as I reload, but I know of a couple shooters that use NSK and speak highly of it...

Hi jambie, Not sure where you're located, but in the US I don't believe the IZH 35M has been imported for a couple of years. THe last importer I know of is EAA. If you want an 'Ivan', your best bet is to keep an eye out for them on the auction lists, they do show up pretty regularly. I do have an IZ...
