Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I spoke with Clark and they said their turnaround time is about 3 months.

I spoke with Valquartsen they have a much quicker turnaround time and I think I'm gonna go with them.

Thanks

I want a crisp 2.5lb trigger. I'm not sure how else to describe it. I hate any slack in the trigger so also know I don't want any pretravel. Right now the pistol has a sloppy trigger. First when you pull the trigger, the trigger stops at at least two points. Second the trigger moves differently depe...

Ruger Gunsmiths

Asside from Volquartsen and Clark does anyone know of any gunsmiths that specialize in Ruger Mark II/III's? I have a Ruger Mark III that I use for NRA Bullseye and International Competition. I have installed a Volquartsen trigger kit, but the pistol is in need of some professional love. I'm looking ...

Reloading Military Brass

I'm just starting to reload my own ammo. Right now I have about 1000 once fired military brass. The brass is .45 cal ACP brass. My question is does anyone know if this brass has the crimped primer or is that just military rifle brass?

Thanks

Ya, I should have done that from the start. This weapon is just such a pain in the *** to detail strip, I haven't wanted to do it at the range.

I hope its not the new trigger, I'm starting to really like it.

I installed the new spring exactly like that. It definetely helped. With the bent spring I shot 150 rounds and had this problem at least 15 times. Today I only had the problem twice. I guess I'm gonna have to bring the factory trigger and sear with me and start swapping pieces one by one until I fin...

try 2

I stripped the weapon down again to see if I could find a problem. I found the sear spring looking like this. I believe in one of my first attempts to put the weapon back together after replacing the factory sear I may have put the spring incorrectly. I had a second spring and replaced it. Everythin...

I installed just the sear and trigger, I did not go with the upgrade kit.

I installed the Target Trigger with Overtravel adjustment. Model VC2TT.

Mark III problem

I replaced my standard trigger and sear with Volquartsen target models. Occasionally I now have problems shooting my third or fourth round in rapid fire. The first round will fire, the trigger will return forward (maybe not the entire way) and when I pull the trigger again nothing happens. If I phys...

Pistol Box

I'm looking into buy a box/bag to carry my weapons in. I need it for regular practice and bullseye competitions. I need it to be able to carry 3 weapons, ammo, spotting scope, stand (unless the box can be used as a stand), and other odds and ends. I have been looking at the Gun-Ho pistol box, does a...

Bullseye,

Thanks for the help. I was not sure if I should install the VQ full kit or not. I think I will though. I'm gonna stick with the standard sights on the weapon for now. I'll probably be getting the new grips as well.

What do you think about a compensator?

Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Jim and I have been watching this site and a few others like it for some time now.
