No harm to anything I have ever used it in. If I recall correctly, many years ago when CCI came out with their Blazer line of ammo, it was all aluminum cased. Non-reloadable but a cheaper price.

It was a Llama clone. I left it alone. Probably worth $150, though.

I can't remember who took over Llama but if it's Spanish made, I'll leave it on the table. I do remember that it had "Firestorm" on the slide. I just need to look it over again. Kinda like you said, all my research turns up is a full size 1911 Firestorm.

No, this one is a compact 1911. It looks like a Colt Commander. I gave it quick once over and it looked pretty good. I cannot remember if it was Spanish made like the Llama or Philippines like the RIA, High Standard, and many other 1911's nowadays. I will get a chance to go over it some more in a da...

Firestorm Compact .45

I have the opportunity of taking one of these in on a trade but I don't know too much about it. It is not a Bersa and looks like a compact 1911, Commander size. Would this be the Firestorm that replaced the Llama? Does anyone know if any standard 1911 parts will interchange? Magazines? I have done s...

Sold: Ruger MK II w/Pac Lite Upper (SC)

OK, I've got a craving for a new project and I need to move something to help support my habit. I have decided to part with one of my Ruger MK II's. This MK II has a fluted, blue, 8 1/2 Inch Tactical Solutions Pac Lite Upper. The upper has the sights and is drilled and tapped for the Ruger mounting ...

This was the event that was ignored by the Obama media. If it was even mentioned, it was reported as a small crowd. Looks like a lot of people to me. Thanks for representing me.

Good, honest wear from use or a holster sure does look good on a handgun. After all, they were made to be used.

With the $1000, I would buy a Ruger MK II Target with the 6 7/8 tapered barrel. With the money left over, I would buy a VQ, sear, trigger, and extractor, a good set of grips and spend the rest on ammo.

I'm sure that Davidson's will return the MK III's to Ruger. The sad thing is none of us will ever find out what Ruger's explanation will be.

Being a coward, I waited until the next morning and snuck it into the gun cabinet before she got up. Now it's "just another gun"... Yep, done that one before. Once they are in the house, they all look the same. If one does look different and a question arises, "This one? Oh, I've had it f...
