Re: Obsolete gun part suppliers
Jackfirst came thru for me a couple of times, in fact in one case S&W actually referred me to them. Fair prices and excellent service. Also if you are really interested in having knowledge in your hands they have a great set of parts books!

I plan to get an S & K mount but I don't want to hang a piece of glass on it that is worth 2x ...

The last GS I went to my wife was shopping for her carry gun, which was also her wedding present. She she had an idea of what she wanted and worked with my principle "if it doesn't feel right, don't buy it" . 1k later with an EMP in hand she is shooting excellent groups. GS prices are variable, got ...

I got my brothers friend who not only had a mill but it a pretty doggone good machinist, though I had been prepared to do it myself. On his advice I went a little further and tapped the grips for the 1911 bushings. http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz263/99-100/22_45_R.jpg?t=1299806888 http://i834....

The founding fathers feared "Mob Rule" most when considering how best to set up our Democratic-Republic. I think we're witnessing the wisdom of their concerns today. I feel for those folks out there in Wisconsin. Back when the Health Care debate was running, the Dems told the minority to go sit dow...
