Clark Custom Barrel for S&W Model 41
I just got a new Clark barrel for my old,1967 Model 41. The trigger guard would not close all the way to lock in the barrel. This was not unexpected, before I started grinding away on the new barrel lug I wanted to review just what I needed to file. I thought I had seen in on the Rimfire Central For...

Re: Bullseye powder
I have used Bullseye, but I prefer WST, seems to be cleaner burning and I am getting good groups with it at 50 yards. I like the feel of the recoil better.

I gave the MKIII a really good chamber cleaning. I started with Hopps bore solvent with my chamber brush, then then I used JB bore cleaner on my jag and worked it in real good, used the chamber brush on a drill to remove any lose matter. Like magic when I went to the range yesterday I had no problem...

Light primer striks, MkIII
My MkIII has over 20,000 rounds thru it and lately I am getting light strikes on the primer. This will happen about once in a 100 rounds of CCI SV and with SK Standard plus it happen so much I do not like to even practice with it. I have the original Main Spring and recoil spring. Is it time for the...

Downeaster, here is a close up of the Marble Tang sight. I went to the range again yesterday and shoot with just the Tang. It will take more practice to get good with it then the scope. I shot ok with the targets at fifty yards, but the silhouettes at fifty yards were really hard for me to see. I co...

My Henry Fontier
Several weeks ago I meet a guy out at the range that had won a Henry H001 at a Friends of the NRA dinner. He let me shoot it. I was hooked. I started to do my research and decided that I wanted the Frontier model, with a Marble Tang sight. At the local Sportsman Warehouse it was $359. The tang sight...

Well it has been awhile since my original post for this problem. I wanted to let you all know what the out come was. The month before I had shoot scores that would move me up to Sharphooter. Long overs due, but some are slow to pick things up and that was me. Anyway I later found out that I needed m...

MK lll fireing pin return spring
I was cleaning my MKlll today getting ready for this Sundays Bullseye competition. When I took out the firing pin I found that the return spring was broken. I know I have no chance to get a new spring before Sunday. Will the gun still function? How big a problem is this for Sundays Match.
