When I did my deep clean i forgot all about the Mag release. I took that appart today. There was all kinds of oil grease and metal shavings on the edge that catches the magazine. Wife was out of town this weekend so I did a detailed strip and deep clean of all the parts. After about 2 hours of cleaning and figuring out how to get the hammer and associated parts back in the gun i was ready to shoot. Went to a gun show in Akron on Saturday. Wow it has been a long time since i have been to one. It takes all types. I finally bought my Mark iii GC. Shot it saturday as well. I love it. dont' put this junk in your Mark lll, they FTF i am in Indiana this week. I have been watching your posts as well. Never seen the spitfire ammo until today at Gander mountain. They had tons of it. they even had 9mm and .45. 9mm was at least double cost of what i paid at wallyworld last week at home.
