Thanks fellow's for all the advise. I'll check those springs and chamber out and see what I find. I used a pipe cleaner on the bolt where the recoil spring goes so I know that's clean as well as everything else. I'll try the grease, run a patch with some oil up and down the mag tube and give her a g...

Marlin 99M1 22LR carbine
Hi, I got this little rifle in 1970 for squirrel's, plinking and just fun. Anyway, I got it out and did a real good cleaning and went to the range with it today to see how it shot. Well, the little Redfield 2-7x scope was still sighted in, but the rifle wasn't worth a sh.....it. It wouldn't feed mor...

Thanks Fellows! I really appreciate your help. Those posts help my understanding about what's going on with the scope a heck of a lot. I was about ready to take it back. lol bearandoldman, that range description with the amount of rise and fall from POA in actual number of inches gives me a good pic...

Problems zeroing new Nikon 6-18 BM scope on New 10/22 DSP
Hi Folks! I've been reading some of the past posts on the forum regarding "scopes" and recognized myself as one of those guy's who thought all you had to do was zero the darn scope in and you were ready to go. I never thought much about the rise of the bullet (trajectory) only that it fell/dropped o...

Yeah, I'll just take her down again and wipe it out. You mentioned "grips", I took those off yesterday as well and man it was awful under there. ha! I run the compressor at about 25-30psi and that works well. Good advice on blowing the water out first before using it on your gun. Learned that...

OK Bullseye, why don't you tell us this stuff before we get ourselves into trouble????? :?: (kidding) I just stripped my MKIII Hunter yesterday after running 3-4 bricks through it and man was it dirty (I only clean the barrel, chamber and breech every time I go to the range). Well, I know you know w...

Amen to the wheel chair and walker Greener, lol. There's nothing wrong with applying some good old empirical reasoning in getting to a fairly accurate conclusion. I remember those darn chem courses and I hated them. ha! We were using punch cards when I was in school. The computer center took up aabo...

Hey Bullseye, I've tossed in a couple pic's of my two favorite guns, but I have a question for you. Is there any arms manufacture producing modern 9mm Luger P08's? I would give anything to get my hands on something like that. My buddy has a couple his dad left him from WWII but he never shoots them....

Hi, SA, Kimber, etc are nice guns for sure, but I took a long shot after a heck of a lot of deliberation and bought a EAA Witness Elite Limited 9mm (Tanfoglio made in Italy) that I love. It's a whole lot of gun for the money and ready for IPSC comp if your interested without requiting any modificati...

Bullseye, you recommended switching the MKIII sear and trigger to a Volquartsen Mark II Target Sear and a new trigger, either the new VQ Mark III or a Marvel, that has a pretravel adjustment to take up that extra trigger travel. Did you mean a VQ MKIII target sear or MKII? I assume if you meant a MK...

MKIII Trigger
Bullseye! I've finally decided to do something about that trigger in my MKIII Hunter. The VQ looks pretty good, but I've been reading some of the posts where the guy's arn't too happy with them. Do you like the VQ kits or do you prefer one of the other brands?
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,

Bullseye Shooting
Hello, While I was at the little indoor range the other day a fellow ask me if I had tried Bullseye shooting. I didn't know what he was talking about, but found it to be a type ofcompetition shooting. It sounded like it might be fun even though I'm not a very good shot. I looked it up here on the ne...
