If that's what you wanted to do, I think you made the right choice. I have been thinking of selling off a few guns to focus on certain other guns/calibers a little more. It's such a Pita to sell, but you feel better once it's done.

This is what I bought from Midway, I had $20 Midway bucks to use, so after shipping, it only cost $20. I can use it for other things as well.

If I leave the gun in a lock box, does it have to be unloaded? Say, when I am away from my vehicle for 5 hours or so.

Carrying a gun in your car

I have been wanting to mount a holster in my car, one that locks the gun into it where it would be possible leave it there while going into a non-carry location (bank, etc). I am trying to find Michigan laws pertaining to this, but having difficulty. Is it ok, while driving, to set the gun on the pa...

There's no question buckshot will do a better job in stopping an intruder, but most people live in areas where it's dangerous for penetration through your walls then through your neighbor's walls, possibly killing them. You don't have to obliterate the bad guy to stop him. I can't imagine anybody no...

I worry more about over penetration then under. I sure wouldn't like to get
hit by the #8 BS, that looks like the meat got ripped up pretty good. I still
opt for my Kahr PM9, it's easiest.

500 9mm reloads

What do you think is a fair price for 500rds of 9mm reloads? I paid $125.
All the components were his, and I have shot his loads before and they are
very good fmj 115g rn's.

I just sold about 6lbs of AutoComp because I didn't like it for my applications, it always seemed a little inconsistent to me. I guess it was made for compensated guns, hence the name, but with 9's, 38's, 45's I couldn't find a happy load.

My dad served in the Marines, WW2, in the Volcano Islands. He was died back on 4th of July of '07, and he was buried on '777' (July 7th, 2007). Some of the stories he told were pretty amazing. One story that sticks with me is when they invaded Iwo Jima, he was fortunate to not have to go in until af...
