Savage Model 187H .22 rifle online owners manual?

Post by Mako72 » Sun Nov 23, 2008 3:59 pm

Recently I picked up an older Savage Model 187H .22 rifle. It says it will shoot everything form .22 shorts to LR. I figure it's older because I can't find a serial number on it. After shooting it and getting some jams I figured it could use a good cleaning which was verified when I pulled the stock. While I could probably figure out how to tear it down/reassemble it, it would be better if I could come up with an owners manual first or at least an exploded diagram to make it easier. Anybody know of a source for online manuals or diagrams for this gun (as in free  )? I tried but wasn't sucessful in finding anything on the internet. If not, I will try Savage direct and see what they say. Thanks.

I think Numrich's will have what you need but you will probably have to pay for it.

I've got a 187N. Numrich has the parts diagram, but doesn't have the manual. I never could find a manual online. Good luck.

Guys, thanks for the info.

wleoff, nice looking 187N you have there. This thing has to be accurate, it's got a 24" barrell! :thumbs up:
