1955 Marlin Mounty

Post by jstanfield103 » Sun Dec 22, 2013 11:39 pm

I have not been on the site for a little while, I am usually a handgun man but recently been into rifles. I bought three Marlins in the last three weeks.
Here is my pride and joy that I am very happy with. It is my new favorite gun to shoot.
Marlin 1955 39A Mountie, man I love this thing. Solid made and really pretty nice for a gun that is 58 years old and the bore is also very nice, great shooter.

I have a Mountie and a "D" model. Both great rifles.

Very nice. I don't know why more rifles don't come with an aperture sights, even a basic peep is a big improvement on open sights.

Good score there. They are great little rifles.

Very nice. You rarely see one and almost never in that condition.
