Rem. 581
I posted a target, and have mentioned several times the old Rem. 581 that I rescued a couple years ago. But failed to post a pic. of it.
So, here is a pic. Frankly, it was so abused by a previous owner that I would not have even considered it except for the shift lever being on the CORRECT side.

I don't have a before pic. I just got my first digital camera about 8 months ago, and this forum taught me how to use photobucket.bgreenea3 wrote:very pretty.......do you have a Before photo?
Over the years, I've rebuilt a few but it never occured to me to take pics.
This rifle had a Redfield receiver sight on it (I haven't got it cleaned and re-blued yet) that you could barely see the #s and lines on it because of gunk and rust. At least I got the rust and most of the gunk off though.
I'm kind of a sucker for a sick puppy.
