Missing person

Post by greener » Thu May 07, 2015 9:17 am

I've been unfindable by people in my hometown for 40 years.

Two weeks ago I spent the night at a ratty old Hotel on Atlantic Beach before my semi-annual Outer Banks fishing trip. The owner happened to be from my home town. I graduated with his older brother, he graduated with my brother-in-law. It turns out that my 50-th High School reunion is coming up. I got in contact with one of the organizers. She said they had been looking for me since 1975 and couldn't find me.

My mother had the same address and telephone number for 50 years. My sister was well known as a mom in competitive swimming, my brother-in-law is one of those folks everyone knows and she goes the the Church that knows my change of address before I do.

If I decide to go off the grid and disappear, I'll just move back to my home town. I'll be unfindable.
