im sure everyone has heard or read some about the 375 ruger. the big point about the cartridge is that it doesnt require a magnum length reciever or the extra large magazine space.. ive looked at three models of the new hawkeyes made for the new round..... buuuuut....at the price,,purt near 1000 dollars,,, im wondering if the 1903 springfield,, a high number rock island nickel steel model,,, if rebarreled, would be suitable?... im thinking the 375 ruger will fit, since it is 30-06 sized will work.. i think for roughly the same amount, i can have a much nicer rifle.... it already wears a boyds stock from long ago that is pretty nice,, and it <the 03> is a pretty elegant piece.... anyone know if this works?
