I've noticed accuracy drop offs when there is a lot of fouling around the crown that returns after its been cleaned. not sure if it is a fouled rifleing or the carbon/lead buildup where the barrel releases the bullet. I might try just wiping the muzzle off next time I notice the accuracy drop off
