Tasco Propoint 1x32mm 5 MOA Red Dot Rifle Scope PDTS132

Post by Basshoe » Sun Jan 10, 2010 8:33 pm

Hey folks,
I bought a M&P 15 and want to put a scope on it. I would like to put a really nice scope on it but can't afford what I want. I was looking at this one to get me by for awhile. Does anyonehave an opinion or perhaps a better solution for close combat situations in the price range of a couple hundred dollars? Thanks in advance.

Ah,
You can spot a rookie a mile away. I like the idea of the red dot for now but would also like to have a scope for those 2 to 3 hundred yard shots as well. I bought the gun new because I feel in love with its looks and feel. It is the A model not the T model like I should have bought. I will at one time in the future be looking for a tactical rail assembly to attach to the one the gun currently has. I would be interested when all said and done to have a scope, red dot, and a LED light all attached to the same weapon. Am I being realistic or fantasizing with all of this. Thank you for your input Recumbent.

Look at the Mueller scopes. Very nice scopes for the money. They are made in China to Mueller specs.
I have an APV and the APT very bright clear scopes.

They also make scopes with an illuminated dot in the center of the cross hair.
These are nice in that the scope works with or without the red dot turned on so if your battery goes dead you can still use the scope.

I have found that Mizzou Mule guns is the best place to order from. They are in Alaska and the scopes ship from a warehouse in Missouri.
Dennis at Mizzou Mule is great to order from.

Hey Recumbent,
Thanks for the heads up. I will check them out. Shipping shouldn't cost much as I live in K.C. MO. (lol) Thanks for the advice and take care.
