Holy crap!

Post by SKnight » Mon Dec 01, 2008 10:00 pm

I just installed my Volquartsen extractor in my Mark III, dropped a dummy round in for a test and sent in flying across the room just cycling it by hand! I can't imagine what it'll be like when the bolt cycles on it's own!

Seriously, it flew further by hand than it has on the range. I'm thouroughly impressed, thanks Bullseye!

The extractor is just holding the case more firmly against the bolt so the ejector can get a nice firm hit on the spent case. Ruger 22 Autos have always been known for throwing brass a considerable distance.
