Bullseye,
Thanks. I've used some of that in both my Ruger Std Auto, and my ancient H&R Sportsman. Seems to work pretty good.

I got curious to remind myself of the Velocities/Energies of the
CCI MiniMag/StdVel ... CCI Ballistics Page

I noticed that the recently ReLabeled CCI ammo (the DarkBlue labels)
appearantly has revised the downrange Vel/NRG numbers...
down about 4%... BUT the muzzle numbers remain as before... (?)

NOTE: downrange numbers for Stinger & QuickShok are significantly UP !

Code: Select all

                   V0 V50 V100 E0 E50 E100
CCI 0030 MiniMag 1235 1095 998 135 106 88
CCI 0032 Std.Vel 1070 977 908 102 85 73

That Eley article is a very good read - Thanks for posting it. Looking at all the quality control that goes into producing top performing match ammo gives everyone a good perspective why it costs what it does.
